I really like this movie.. the action was great! However i wish there was more of detailed story line. The main character grows up really fast.. you dont get to see the progression of how she was a child to becoming a hit person.

I thought it wasn't an entirely great movie. Kinda like a James Bond kinda character but placed onto a girl. She can pretty much do anything and kick ass at it too. If you're into a chick whooping the heck outta guys, then this might be your movie haha.

This is a really entertaining movie and it definitely one of my favorites. It may not have the most complex story, yet it will keep you interested during the whole time.

Overall OK movie - With that you get your typical 'action' movie - chases, things getting demolished, people climbing walls and a little tragic romance thrown in! Zoe is beautiful, which will no doubt attract some persuasions, however, acting and dialogue could use improvement. Beautiful scenescape of Columbia at the beginning of the movie!

Fans of Luc Besson will not be disappointed. The younger Columbiana is just superb especially when the camera is zooming in on her face when she is unsure of the faith of her parents. Zoe Saldana plays well the genre of the avenger. Overall the message left at the end is there is a steep price to pay to get your revenge.

I liked it. Kept me entertained until the end. Yes, it is pure fantasy a little skinny thing to do all the action with huge weapons and so on but the movies in general and the action ones in particular are all about it. Zoe is good in that movie, I loved her "drunk" stunt - not overplayed, believable. Very fast paced, good job - in all levels- acting, directing, photography too. I did not like Zoe Zaldana's comment in the press that it is 'scary"?? to be compared to Angelina Jolie, especially now when she saw it herself how much work, risk, devotion, training is involved in such role. It is not only to be made pretty and appear on the set just saying your lines in some romance or comedy. It

This movie is bad in many ways. Yet another fantasy about a 90 lb woman easily defeating dozens of men without chipping a nail. Effortlessly lifting things that weigh more than her and ridiculous fight scenes. Saldana has the body of a 12 year old girl, she should stick to roles like Uhura.
