great special effects! story was a bit lacking!
this movie was really fun! i agree with some of the other reviews that dark shadows is a silly movie - but if you're in the mood for a silly movie, i recommend this one.
amazing visuals, though the plot felt like it was focusing on a much different story line than i had expected.
for such a great cast and a tim burton movie this was disappointing. not funny, and kind of silly.

i was very dissapointed with this movie. i was expecting a lot with it being a tim burton movie and with johnny depp but it was horrible. the trailer covered everything so you really dont even have to watch the movie. i would not waste my time and money in a theatre its a renter movie at best if you have to see it.
exspected a lot more from tim burton and johnny depp usually love their movies and found that all the funny parts you see in this movie are in the trailer
