G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

G.I. Joe is a great movie for its genre! The action is continuous, the characters follow the cartoons from 20 years ago and the production/CGI is flawless. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this movie, and look forward to watching it again. Please keep in mind this is an adaptation of a kids toy franchise (that turned into a cartoon)- when viewed with that in mind, this film is knock-out success. Enjoy!

I believe that movie was a good modern take on the 80s cartoon, but moving the GI Joe to a gobal force (not a american hero) was a mistake, it seemed odd. Also I think the casting was really off. But the movie made up for it by touching up on a number of the GI Joe story lines (Soild Snake, Duke's love story, the rise of cobra). I think overall it's more then we can ask for an update of a 80s icon.

Lots of action, great special effets. GI Joe has definetly changed from when I was little. I would love for my little boy to see it but he is only 6 and I think it was a little to violent for him.

It was an awesome movie, i wasn't expecting it so real and dramatic, i will be buying the movie if i don't win it,

I watched this movie in China, since I am currently travelling in China. Due to that fact, I watched GI Joe a day ahead of most people in Canada. Thereby, what I like to say is that it is an excellent action flick! The special effects are great, but not as great as Transformers 2. However, its story plot is better than T2 and way more action sequences than you could have imagined! Strongly recommended and definitely waiting for the second sequel!

This movie is non-stop action. There story isn't confusing, allowing you to focus on the insane action, CG, scenes. If you're in the mood for an over-the-top, popcorn flick, this is the movie for you.

It was surprisingly good. The previews of it, depicted a lame movie, but I was happy to be mistaken. It kept me interested throughout every minute! Can't wait for number two!

Filled with stupid action, like a jet chasing down missiles.

Boring special effects, bad acting, incoherent plot.

In a ~2 hour movie, when the film ends and you didn't even see time has passed, this is a good sign!! I liked a lot the multiple rivalities between specific characters, beside the main rivality between the 2 clans. Great movie anyway!!
