WAY TO RUIN GI JOE! this movie was TERRIBLE! i love stuff getting blown up BUT how does a movie with a budget of over $100 million end up having the WORST graphics of the summer?!?! not only were the graphics bad but this movie as a whole just didnt work in my eyes....I HOPE TO GOD THERE ISN'T ANOTHER ONE!!!

A pretty good movie for escapism. Definitely had the feel of GI Joe, not too serious, hi-tech weapons, etc. Goes by fast and without a dull moment. Got a lot of undeserved bad press, so most people will come out pleasantly surprised.

Summer blockbuster is G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra! What an action-packed, enjoyable comic book-style flick with all the expected action scenes, cool weapons, nasty bad guys and of course, the sexy stars! The chase with the heroes wearing the special suits was something I've never seen before and it blew my mind and I would recommend the movie for just this alone!

I've seen Uwe Boll flicks that are better than this. I didn't go to this movie expecting too much and yet I was still disappointed when I left the theatre. The dialogue, the actors/ characters (with the exception of Ray Parks as Snake Eyes and Byun Hun Lee as Storm Shadow), and the story all terribly weak.The cartoon is honestly better.

I believe movie going is about expectations. If you think G.I.Joe is going to be worthy of an Oscar, then you’ll be disappointed. Instead if you’d like to see a mindless loud summer popcorn movie with losts of explosions, then you’ll love it.

This movie was very aggravating. It promotes that average people(and when you see the joes actions and comments slighly less then average IQ's) get super powers and be a hero if they join the army and put on accerlator suits...however even with the ripped off iron man suits(i mean gi joes suits) they still get beat up by normal cobra without accelerator suits operatives...did i mention that they were also in the top 0.5% of all gi joes and still lost? hahaha stupid joes... They also ruined the baroness for me(damn she was really hot as the straight dark haired baroness)...you'll see how they ruined her in the end. Dukes comment about him and his army, then all the stupid joes

The whole movie was all close calls. Just firing the gun at the right time, or having the craft get thru a small opening right in the nick of time. But when it comes to really important times, they just miss by a hair. Should be called G.I. Nick of time. And the kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun TV show is the bad guy!? What the... And of course this was about polar opposites, bad guy is under water in the artic. Good guys are under sand in the desert??? The great American hero and yet they say 10 countries all contributed $ and people. And at least the flashbacks all said the peoples story/backgrounds quickly. I took my neighbors son to see it. We thought it was quite suspensful. G.I.Joe is a spectacle. Channing plays it so well. We loved the excitment it presents to you. It presents an exciting fantasy version of good vs. evil. It was great.

Sometimes when a beloved cartoon or toy makes the transaction to live action movie or series one should be worried. Well like Transformers this was a pretty good trsanslation. I just hope if they do a second one they get some of the same cast.

Great Moive. Didn't have high expectations for it, but I walked out with a hgue smile on my face. Not the best acting ever, and a little cheesy, but for what it is, its an Awesome Action packed movie. Take it for what it is and don't over analyze. 4 Stars

Surprisingly good movie! Good balance of story and action. The storyline is deep enough for an action movie and the action scenes were top notch. If you put aside some scientific impossibilities you'll enjoy this movie

What an action packed extravaganza this was. A new take for GI Joe. Loved the fact that the good guys wore black and the bad guys white. Great sound and it felt like being inside the most awesome video game with Joe and the gang.

This is going to be a blockbuster movie for the summer of 2009. Great action, special effects, and sound track for sci-fi and action fans. And the plot is pretty decent too. Worth watching again!
