I just got a chance to see Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 1, I was a little disappointed however it stuck right to the book. not leaving much out or adding anything in. (which is a good thing at times) I found after reading the book though the movie was kind of boring. when i first heard they were going to make 2 movies out of it was a little bit peeved. I liked how it stuck to the story line and i enjoyed the characters, i disliked the story of the deathly hallows and how they told it. other then that it was a safe movie right to the book.

The only thing I found lacking in the movie was there was not as much action as with the previous movies but having read the book I should have expected it as the movie was well adapted to the book. Where they left off for part 1 was done perfectly. I can't wait to see the final part.

Really enjoyed the movie from the point of view of it being faithful to the book but the two thirds of the book covered is primarily lead-up to the action sequences in the climax. The character maturation content was probably not what was expected but is in keeping with the aging of the audience of faithful readers...teenage angst, death of friends, etc. The finale movie will be all action and will be polar opposite to this Part 1.

Loved it! The best movie of the franchise yet. My 10 year old daughter and I had just finished reading the 7th book when we saw this movie.

The chairs are nice, and being able to reserve your seating is fabulous, but otherwise not worth the money. The movie actually stuck fairly closely to the book, it was the first time since the Philosopher's Stone. It made for a nice change and the movie was pretty good, but knowing that the movie will not conclude for six months is to long a wait.

Excellent, amazing, intense, the young actors mature greatly in the acting skills. Good to do two parts because most of the main scenes were there. Voldemort is unbelivable, no one can compare Ralph Fiennes to act this role, THE best choice of the entire movie. Love Snape too. Can't wait to see the second part when these two encounter face to face as well as the battle between Voldemort and Harry.

I am a big fan of the books and the movies, and was worried that this one would fall flat. I was pleasantly surprised by they quality of the movie, particularly by the use of humour in an otherwise darkish tale.

Almost all of the movie was just Harry running in the woods.. its not something I want to see when I go to the movies. Other then that I found it very good!

While the movie and the book have considerable gaps between them, the film was done very well. I prefer to go into Harry Potter movies with no expectations so that when the movie diverges from the book I am not disappointed. Being that I read the books many years ago now, I was quite pleased with how the film was constructed. It left off at a very logical point. Excited for the final film.

This was the best movie to date out of the series. Although the plot is darker than the previous movies it should be no surprise to anyone who has read the books. It was a refreshing change to see the actors allowed to age as well as opposed to trying to hide it as so many movies with young adults do.

It was a very good beginning my children and I enjoyed it. We can hardly wait for the second half. We were very glad that this movie was as great as the others. We thought it was great that the actors in the movie have grown in their craft as the years have gone by. Keep it up can hardly wait for the second part.

What a rip...they get you hooked into the plot of the movie only to leave you hanging. I cannot wait till Part 2 comes out. this had me on my edge of my seat in trying to figure out what harry is going to do and who is gonna be next. sort of upset over the scene in the judges room for the wand...thoguth the old lady would finally be vanished like the witch in the wizard of OZ. got water TOSS IT AT HER lets seee what happens...LOL...good movie for me
