A very beautiful movie. Not for those looking for Indiana Jones however....
the communication between horse and rider was unforgetable and excellent film for young and old.
It was a good movie. Great post-Lord of the Rings for Viggo Mortensen (note the southern drawl). Notable also is Omar Sharif in the role of the Sheikh. Still looking good at 72. Entertaining and dramatic at the same time.
It was wicked....the concept of Viggo trying to find out where he belongs in this world with his companion Hidalgo.....It was a great movie

Hidalgo was a wonderful enjoyable movie. If you like horses, desert, challenge, it has a fabulous story and great acting, then you will love Hidalgo. Wonderful entertainment made for the big screen, best place to watch it is on the big screen.
