I absolutely loved the book! The movie portrayed the book very well and the actors did a very good job of portraying the characters. A definite MUST SEE!!
A beautiful film to look at, and very true to the spirit of the book. I laughed and cried. Bill Nighy`s performance was devastatingly moving and the love story was played out brilliantly. I loved this film.

It was better than the book. The characters were really well played, especially Henry Thomas (E.T.-Gangs of New York) and Romola Garai! A deffinately Must-See.
It turned out to be more than I expected. The plot is interesting, the photography is beautiful and Romola Garai has the perfect look to play her character.
