Should've kept "The Last Crusade" as just that--LAST! Bad movie, recycled script. Harrison Ford looked bored. Guaranteed to disappoint. Not the best movie but was quit good. I thought the beggining was hard to follow. Was below their potential, was surprised for who was creating this movie, could have been way better. Story was so so. A visual spectacle of wonderful Special Effects. A true example of movie magic. disappointing, with all the hype. for the time between money grabs, ie// sequels, you'd think a better script could've been had. interesting in particular how problems hundreds of years in the making can be solved in seconds by indy with a bit of rational logic, and that by destroying artifacts with sledgehammers etc such would be typical of an archaeologist? 2- If you've seen the other 3 movies then you'll feel like you've already seen this one. Same deal, same characters just a different set of circumstances. This of course is the premise of most sequels and it generally works. With this one however it's actually somewhat boring, if thats possible with an IJ film.../m I found this movie incredibly predictable, annoying and I didn't connect with the story... It lacked soul... the ending was hackneyed. This is the SAME OLD story all over again. Different treaure, different bad guys, but the SAME OLD story. |
