I have seen `Jalla Jalla!` as often as I can. I love this film, so sweet, so sexy, so funny. It is nice, too, without doing more than hinting at the matter, to portray Christian Arabs, and in depicting Arabs generally in such a sympathetic, human way. I want to buy a video of `Jalla Jalla!` when I have the means to play DVDs, and I would love to have a poster of the film to mount to hang on a wall in my house. I guess you could say that I am madly in love with this wonderful comedy and that I adore especially the character of Roro. May there be more films like this for Westerners to see, and may `Jalla Jalla!` come back to the cinema hou
I thought it was an amusing take on how Sweden deals with different ethnicities. It gives the answer to the problem of ethnic cultural conflict as being mixture. I am not sure that is the right answer, per se, but compromises do inevitably get worked out when cultures clash. dlw
