Horrible movie...I don't really understand the end? I'm guessing something with adam and eve all over again?! Had potential... but sucked in the end.

On 1st viewing the movie seems weak with a lot of potential to develop the story line. However on leaving the cinema, you start to question when does randomness end & determinism begin! Good food for thought.

The story may be silly, but the sound effect and visuals were so great. Quiet entertaining to sit in the movie .

This movie was written by an agnostic but definitely has a Christian "end time" theme. If you didn't like the movie you should see it again with an open mind.

Disappointing movie. It could have been much more thoughtful and meaningful in exploring the potential of the end of the world, the meaning of life, randomness versus destiny. It should have been a movie to really make you think, rather than be about special effects and using aliens as an easy out to the story. Unless I missed it, it didn't really explain the fundamental purpose of the aliens providing the information of 50 years of catastrophes.

Pure crap. An ATTEMPT at a mix of thriller/sci-fi/horror that FAILS and then FAILS FAILS again. The story line seems to draw you one way, and then throws a curve ball at you... which hits you right square in the head, leaving you wondering WHY! OH WHY OH WHY! Not worth the $9 I paid. Movies have been disappointing me lately. This ranks right up there.

Movie actor's great as expected. Movie not bad. Ending however was a big drop off and dissapointment. May have been better to call a new national trasure.

Special effects were nice, first 1/2 of the movie to 3/4 is alright then it dumps Religion in willy nilly and ruins the film - need the poster of "There is prob no god, move on and enjoy your life"

i liked the concept of the movie, until they brought religion into the picture. Its not that i am not religious, its the fact you cannot have science and religion together. its one or the other... and the whole alien thing was a bit far fetched but i can see the adam and eve kind of whole thing and it kinda made me think of the noah's arc how they had 2 of species.. kinda lame the science part was really cool but the religion just kind of ruined the movie. 3 stars T.G.

Probably one of the worst disappointments in recent history. Ultimately, the goal of the movie seems to be boring the audience to death and taking HUGE leaps to conclusions that are anything but obvious unless spoon-fed. No excuse for this insipid lame-fest that robbed me of $12.

There were far too many flaws in this movie. Like, how he decided to look up the numbers' meaning online seemed really far fetched. The end was really disappointing, and there were too many relgions tied into it. The special effects were pretty good, but not enough disaster scenes. The movie definitely gave me goosebumps at time, but overall, I was disappointed. I expected better.

The first part of this movie was great! It had a great plot and great action and out of the blue surprises. However, the second part of the movie went a little wako. I can see now why everyone was makeing suggestions to Adam and Eve. Still worth seeing, but maybe a renter

Adam and Eve? Did you watch the movie? Anyway, Cage is not good with the sentimental acting, but overall it was a good film. Good story, good mesh b/t science and religion. which BTW, is the rapture, not adam and eve. There was more than one alien vessel leaving earth.

If this movie teaches us anything, it's how insignificant and fragile we really are in this universe.Overall most of the positive comments are bang on. See the movie then go research what can and eventually will happen.Reality is far more frightening.

I give it one star for the special effects and the movie up until the end. IT was SUCH a terrible ending. Religious aspects tie in as well as global warming. TERRIBLE ending. The audience was laughing and yelling how terrible and comical the end was. Very disappointing.

Interesting concept and plot but badly put together. Many of the supporting actors were terrible. I felt betrayed by the ending: it's a movie about Adam and Eve?!!!!!

Fantasic! 5/5. Thrilling. Frightening... great story and acting... on the edge of your seat. Excellent from start to finish. Camera work and filming are breathtaking. A must see.

5 of us went and we all liked it. Nicolas Cage was solid. No stupid romance sub plots. Very plausible. Well acted. Well done. Even the ending is in sync with the movie. Nothing wrong with this one. From 15-55

it doesnt deserve more than 4 stars. the movie is superb on special effects. and the sound is pretty awesome too.but until a certain point the story just couldnt hold anymore, it went way too far therefore very disappointing.u will remember this film from nick cage with another 'wtf'.

I thought was was going to be like that stupid stupid stupid Jim Carrey Number 23 so called thriller by the commercials...But after seeing this movie I was totally impressed with this movie...this movie will keep your attention and entertained through out...Definetly a must see....P.S...I dont hate Jim Carrey but his movies do suck now..lol

This Movie was a mix of The Sixth Sense,Day after Tommorow and Final Destination and ET all rolled in one. Overall it was entertaining. Graphics were amazing,plot was good,music was a little chezzy, sound effects were way too loud in the theatre but overall good suspense/thriller...Definetly a Must See...
