It is a good story and the movie makes you believe that these birds are real. My children were not interested in it though and it was a bit hard to keep track of the different characters.

Possibly the best animation I've ever seen. The story is typical for a child-focus film but it is well told and beautifully shot. The detail in the owls' fur and the battle scenes makes this arguably the best animated film ever made.

This movie was fantastic. The moral of the story was great. I took my grandkids and they loved it. It had everything, comedy drama and thrills. The animation was awesome we really enjoyed it young and old.

the concepts are a little dark for children but still it was an okay movie. the good conquers all and do whats right sentiments in the movie were strongly enforced through out the film. all in all 4 of 5 stars

The kids liked it. I found it to be boring and the names of the owls made no sense and the accents (Astrialian) were hard to understand.

I thought this moving was awesome the coulours and graphics were so beautiful. i watch it over and over cause it was so well created. Can't wait for part 2 my 4yr old loved it as well.

A great movie for the whole family. It teaches young and old the how important family is and to always do the right thing even if it is hard to do.

The visuals in the movie are amazing, and one of the best 3D movies I've seen. It might be a little violent for younger or sensitive kids, but over-all a really captivating movie. I look forward the next one.

found it very intense. especially for younger children but my grandson who is 9 enjoyed it very much watched it 3 times. He also was able to understand the messenges that where in the movie about belief and helping out one another etc.

It was an excellent story, I watched it 4 times. It's easy to get into the movie and the graphics were incredible - to watch the expressions of the owls & other animals and their relationship to each other. Hopefully there will be a 2nd movie.

My husband and I enjoyed watching this movie. It even had a few clever ha, ha moments. However, not sure that this is truly meant for children as it is quite a dark and violent movie.

Took the whole family to see this movie..was the first time in years to actually sit in a movie theatre together, we usually go to the Drive Inn to watch our movies.....would definitely tell anyone of my friends who have kids to go and watch this movie.

very dark movie. i have never walked out of a theatre until i saw this movie. nothing that i expected. alot of dark violent scenes which i did not expect for my daughter. not a family-type movie that i expected. however, an owl version of harry potter so some extent. many harry potter fans i know enjoyed this movie.

I did not think this was a family movie - call me old fashioned, but it was overly creepy and confusing (though I am quite analytical and critical of absurd movies). Even our 17yo thought it was creepy and didn't want to finish watching it.

I would rate this a 4 star.Very good animation so life like.There was a great story line.But the thing I noticed was it was a slow pace at the beginning and my kids were getting bored.But after awhile it started to get better.
