The mere fact that a concert of this magnitude was held is proof that the blues are still alive and well.This concert gives a blues lover or even someone new to the blues a good look at the various forms this music has evolved through.

The backup band was excellent - the headliners came on cold, did one number, then a newheadliner came on. Tough act - no warmup, but some of the performances were stellar. There is a soundtrack which should be priceless. Enjoy. Stand up and dance.
