it's four stars for all those girls out there that love channing tatum and all those other cute guys. it's a fun movie for you and your friends. put down the 50 shades of grey book and watch this instead!!

i think that this movie had the potential to be alot better than it was... i would have enjoyed more of the dance scenes and why is it that every time matthew mccounghey plays a character regardless of how likeable he begins inevitably his character turns into an unlikable character (to put it politely) i would enjoy watching him as a nice guy like he was in his earlier films.

hot guys automatically gives this movie three stars and the dancing give it the extra in my opinion. however, the acting in this movie is not that best but i will still watch it over and over again.

ok ladies. there isn't much of a storyline but we all know that isn't why you want to see this movie. still worth the price of full admission for what eye candy you will see. half naked men dancing and a few laughs along the way. worth every penny for sure.

lotsa hot bodies that are fun eye candy to watch. channing tatum is extremely hot - great moves and of course an awesome body; matthew mcconnaughey is predictably arrogant - plays himself; alex pettyfer is very believable and does a good job of a role that could go either way. cody horn is truly pathetic & unappealing in every possible way - she completely lacks presence. i had to keep asking myself "why?" ... there's no way someone like channing tatum would go for a deadbeat broad like her. i don't know why they bothered trying to attach such a lame storyline. it loses credibility that way. fun girls' night out though if you want to ogle at hot guys.

it’s hard to believe that ‘magic mike’ comes from the same director that brought us ‘contagion’, ‘the informant’ and ‘oceans 11’. the storyline leaves much to be desired, but the movie has other attractions (muscles, abs, naked flesh) that more than make up for it! channing tatum has all the right moves. his dance skills (and abs) are truly impressive. the performance of cody horn as adam’s sister brooke, was so terrible, it did major damage to the movie's energy; she sucked the life out of the movie. she is so excruciatingly annoying that it’s totally implausible that mike would pursue her. all in all, there is enough humour and plenty of tight bodies to send everyone home havin

please don't expect much from this movie, other than the male dancers. this movie was actually better than going to a male strip club (eith er way you can't touch), however, the acting was bad, the storyline was boring and the audience was nothing but teenage girls laughing or older gays couples. my suggestion: rent the movie on dvd and invite the girls over !!!!
