A good movie but not as good as the first. Hopefully a lead in to a better third part
I thought it was excellent, a little long, and the special effects were outstanding.
I loved it. it was an amazing sequel and i can`t wait for the next one to come out.

A truly beautiful and side-splittingly funny movie! All of the actors truly outdid themselves and Monsieur Depp put his heart and soul into the acting. Savvy?

Being an old style pirate fan[ie;PIRATES w.Walter Matheau], I enjoyed Dead Man`s Chest in every way. Using the original cast for sequals is a must,and this cast reflects the feel of high adventure so well, that to replace any would be a sin. Yaaarrr... Danar
The movie was what I expected it to be... the only down side was that it seemed to keep going and going with no end in sight... the ending really didn`t resolve anything at all... I guess it is a plot set up for Pirates 3. Otherwise, I would total recommened it; plus, there was some pretty funny moments, and some intense fight sequences. The surpise for me was the Turkish sailors who found Captain Jack Sparrows` Hat that went overboard into the open sea... they actually cast people who spoke Turkish. It was kind of cool being one of two people in the whole auidence who understood exactly what they were say... nice little inside joke touch by
Pretty sick. It`s kind of disturbing that it is getting better ratings than Superman, which may be one of the best movies I`v ever seen. Overall, it was good, just not as good as the first. The hammer-head guy was a little overboard.
It was quite entertaining and they set it up well for the third part but I think there was a little too much comedy and not enough characterization.
