not as good as the first one.
a great improvement over the original --- the only downside is that you will have to wait till next year for the conclusion!
I thoroughly enjoyed this "Pirates" more than the first movie and in fact went back and re-watched "Curse of the Black Pearl". Yes, the movie was long, but so was Peter Jackson`s rendition of "The Lord of the Rings", and those movies were quite popular indeed.

I found it very long, and not as exciting as the first one.
I think it was a great adventure movie. I really liked Johnny Depp`s act, he really has a great way to play Jack. I think he`s the greatest actor of his era. He`s like a chameleon, he has a certain easiness of interprating his different personna.
The only problem I found in this sequel, was that I couldn`t understand what Davy Jones was saying half the time. Loved the ending & looking forward to part three.
