I admit that the action scenes were a little choppy sometimes, but seriously, WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE PLOT?! It's quite simple and very good! Great acting too! Go see this! 4 stars!

I assume there will be other 007 movie but perhaps story will be end the acting of Daniel Craig, why? just watch the movie and get the story.Anyways good actions.

I just saw this movie and found it to be exactly what I expected....a fast paced explosive action flic with all the usual Bondish events...I don't want to give the movie away but he gets in trouble, shoots a bunch of bad guys and gets at least one girl...what more do you want!!! I say go see it if you want to get away for a couple hours and watch stuff blow up.....its worth the 12 bucks.

Am I getting to old for Bond? I am a big Bond fan because of the simplicity and predictability. Not so with this movie, I was confused right from the start, computer generated action sequenses that are paced too fast, whose car was it anyway? A lot of the "staples" are missing The Bond theme at the start, Moneypenny, Q, Gadgets, My name is Bond, Shaken not stirred, ending up in bed with the girl at the end of the show. It was just pointed out to me that the neclace at the end had something to do with the previous movie! Again when I go to a Bond movie I expect a stellar uncomplicated "low brain activity" action movie (like "the World is not Enough"), if I want my brain engaged I will go and

I only give it a 3 stars for the incredible action, I really enjoyed. I would have given it one star for the nudity. I paid attention to it and saw that there was a defined plot afterall. Because someone said before I saw the moveie, that there was no plot. A weak plot but one nonetheless. The woman in the "rape" scene showing uknowwhat was Not Good. No gadgets, no bond car and figuring out and going along with the plot. Just plain action off and on throughout the movie. I will not go see another one. One reviewer said he wants to see a bullet to the head/face. That I will Not go see. Theres Enough interesting things to see without that.

Daniel Craig doesn't cut it, this movie is far worse than Casino Royale. James Bond is debonnaire, charming, witty, sophisticated and smooth. Not a merciless killing machine, manic depressed loser. The writers really need to pick up an Ian Fleming book, perhaps watch a few Roger Moore or Sean Connery 007 movies. They might learn more about the 007 legacy. Brutal crap. I gave it 2 stars because the action was pretty good.

Lame excuse for a Bond movie. Didn't have the feel and "formula" that you've come to expect from 007 movies. Also, even Brosnan was a better Bond than Craig and that's not saying much.

Well, no q, no oo7, no Money Penny, no my name is Bond, james Bond, no martini shaken not stirred, no bond theme (till the movie was over. The action blurred, cannot tell who is shooting at whom, fast computer generated images, no Bond super car or gadgets for that matter. In short, an abortion in my opinion. The DVD will not share my collection. The producers shot themselves in the foot for $$ they should earn. A disappointment

Craig continues Bond's dark nature and I still liked it enough to see it twice! Writing and editing could have been better. I am not sure the significance of the Field's character except for gratuitious nudity/sex. It took away from the angst that Bond should be feeling after the betrayal of Vesper. They should have written the scene as either (1) rejecting Fields or (2) having her with disdain. I would have also liked to have seen the interview between Bond and Vesper's former lover. It was a pivotal point to the developing pscyhology of who Bond becomes and it was not shown to us. Bad writing or editing?

North worth the $$. I prefer the previous Bond movies to this one and the Casino Royale. However, Casino Royale was more interesting and much better. This is all about unnecessary action. No major plot.

Well, Daniel Craig is still by far the best bond. He consistently brings the intensity in amazing fight scenes and actual emotion when dealing with the enemy...While QOS was an actual "part 2" or Casino Royale it in no way resembled past Bond movies. While they were campy and over the top that is what made them fun. In QOS there is not one gadget, not one dynamic car, no dum diddy dum dum music throughout, no clear enemy with some sort of devious plan or facial laceration, no humour, no classic bond line "Bond, James Bond" etc., no using the opening music sequence. I mean sure the realism is great and all but at least Casino Royale had the mini defibulator and La Chifre had a "weird" chara

Well this is a woman's point of view,but I was disappointed. Even my husband agreed, too much shoot-em-up scenes, car chases etc. again and again. A very full of action movie but no real plot or suspense,a couple of jump in seat scenes but basically pretty much bang,crash,jump and roll scenes. But James he's loooooooooking good, so he gets 5 stars on looks. Oh ladies, sorry he stays dressed outside of shirt scene...oh well

The movie was entertaining...but disappointing compared with previous James Bond's movies. The movie Director forgot to include more of his gadgets and toys and the car was disappointing with nothing special on it. This was like a low budget version of 007's movie.

so what is quantum trying to do? steal water from bolivia and manufacture hydrogen? its not really clear, most likely on purpose because crucial interrogation scenes are cut out. but lots of action, explosions. casino royale still by far the best bond.

I am a HUGE JB fan ... seen them all -- this WAS 'ok' --- VERY contrived and forced in areas --- NOT up to the other great Bondesque levels. (silly, of course .. but after free falling from the plane she's still going to have her 5" heals with her? PLEEAASSSEEEEE)

I had read some reviews here before watching, so was expecting an "ok" movie. Could not be further from the truth, this movie was awesome. It cut out all the things I did not like about the older bonds, to much talk, not enough action. This really keeps you on the edge of your seat, you have little time to think of what might happen next. In regard to the plot, you must watch Casino Royal, or else it will most definitely be confusing. In fact this movie is really Casino Royal part II. I think the writers are trying to make bond more episodic, that is each movie has a connection to the previous one, and sets things up for the next. Also, this movie might look short, but its sure is sweet. :)
