Ive never walked out of a mive or demanded my money back , till this one! It is filmed exactly like the Blair Witch Project... so you get a hand held camera aka, extremely bad filming!!My stmoach couldnt handle it, i felt like puking the time i was there.. after walking out... aside from that, the storyline was horrible.. and im a die hard horror fan!! Dont see this unless you enjoy puke!

excellent movie. as much as people complain about the film style being annoying and making them sick, no one I've talked to who has seen this , clover field, or the blair witch has had a problem with it, and i haven't either. Now, there hasn't been many decent scary movies i have seen in a while, but this scared the s**t out of me! i loved it! i strongly suggest going to see for yourself.

very well done in the sence of it being filmed through a news camera perspective. good story line, keeps you on the edge of your seat. some of the stuff is non-sence but what kind of movie doesn't have non-sence isnt that why we go to movies? to see nonsense! p.s. it is almost like playing a really scary video game haha

Good Idea, bad direction. It could have been much, much better. I didn't like the fact that the whole movie was shot out of a video camera, being handled by one of the characters. That type of movie has already been done several times, so it lost it's charm. I also thought the ending was very abrupt. I wouldn't recommend wasting money on this one. It had some goos scares, if you like zombie movies.

Awful movie. Made me have a headache and sick to my stomach. Not because of any horror but because of the camera view. If you liked Blair Witch then you'll like this movie. Could be a good movie if it wern't for the camera view. Save your money

I gave this movie for stars because mostly I do not really care for shaky camera movies but this one had a good plot, good scares and kept up the tension of being trapped in a building. Who ever says this is a terrible movie must of been watching another movie and decided to say something about this one because they did not like cloverfield or the blair witch project. To say that its difficult to follow is some one talking out of their bum. I followed the movie perfectly and was able to keep up. Those who said they got some sort of mumbo jumbo motion sickness are weak and can not even handle a little kiddie car ride. "very bad in every way, people in the theatre were booing when it was over.

I thought this movie was pretty great. I even found it funny. I thought it was very intresting how they used it from the cameras point of view. Everyone was sreaming and laughing, even making funny comments on the movies when i went to go see it. I say five stars, hands down baybee. =]

This movie was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Usually I like horror movies, but the camera was blurry, the story line was inconsistent, and there were so many plot holes and unnessasry scenes then you can shake a stick at. Not to mention, most of the scary scenes were the same...They enter a room, infected person attacks them... *SURPRISE SURPRISE* I would have given this movie no stars but that wasn't an option, don't waste your time.

How did this movie make theaters? It was the worst "scary" movie I'd seen. It had no storyline at the beginning I honestly thought I was watching a documentary and the ending was just horrible.

I watched Quarantine last night and I have to say it was pretty good but people are hyping it up so much when it wasn't really that scary, it was more gory and twisted then scary. It's very interesting that's for sure but I didn't like that it was first person, I think this movie would of been SO MUCH BETTER if it was filmed like a normal movie, it would of been so much scarier.. and some people were saying that they didn't like the ending.. well I LOVED IT,, I know it's kind of spoiled in the previews and commericals but I really really liked how it finished =D overall it was a good movie definitely worth the time.. out of 10 - 7.8/10

Doesn't surprise me that that Joe Sixpacks wouldn't like this movie. It is similar in outlook to "The Mist" a superior horror movie from some time ago. So IMO, most are better off watching that Beverly Hills dog movie.

Horrible, horrible, horrible movie. Parts that were meant to be scary were actually humorous, due to a poor script, bad acting and a weak plot. The movie lost my interest in the first 5 minutes. I love movies but this one I wouldn't even recomend as a rental. What a waste of time and money.

If there was an option to give this movie zero stars, I definately would have. We had a two for one coupon that we used for the movie, and we still got ripped off. Probably the worst movie I have ever seen, even worse than Blair Witch, which was previously the worst movie I have ever seen. Don't waste your money.

this movie was not a remake of a russian movie but it was made from spain called rec h**p://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988// its really to bad people couldnt see the original version. not even a year old and hollywood remade it because of the writers strike. far as i know is they shot the movie exactly what happend inthe original. so im basing my review on that.

This had the potential of being good but there was just too much movement in the camera handling. This is the first time I got nauseous from this type of shooting. Come on, this effect has been done so it has lost its novelty. Now it's just plain sickening.

This movie was terrible, the condition of the old lady was already shown in the previews. It's pretty much a rabies/zombie condition they had. Eating flesh etc etc... It's your typical zombie movie, except with the terrible camera movements. I hate it when they use just ONE hand-held camera and not an actual camera for filming movies. It was hard to see with all the camera movements. Don't waste your money on this.

Don't come in to seeing this movie thinking that it will win an Oscar, because otherwise you wll be very disappointed. This film does a very good job at what it was meant to do: scare and shock you. There are some very gory parts that will sure to please horror lovers, if you don't particularly like scary movies, don't see it, otherwise this is perfect for you. All in all, 4/5 for horror/thriller lovers; 1/5 as a movie overall - CM

This was a terrible movie, the story line was interesting but the whole movie is filmed from a single camera which a character controls.. a lot of blurry images completely out of focus most the movie, it was sooo annoying. I am so sorry I went to see it, a major disapointment, what were the directors thinking? even if it was not so out of focus the uncoordinated movement of this film makes it difficult to follow, the story line being relayed mostly in audio is all you can count on cause the visual is a waste of time, if I never saw the screen this may have been better cause it was so not entertaing to watch someone carry a camera around like it was a flashlight, cant believe it was produced
