can you say "unperdictable!" wow! thsi was the best horror movie in a long time! theres like 3 twists at the end and some people dident like the ending but i thought it was very well done! it was a satesphying conclusion. a must see for scary movie fans and even if your not, ud find smart ideas in this film, very nice

I loved this movie. (Leigh Whannel is sooo hot) The only thing I didn`t like was the ending.

The movie was full of twists and in-depth realistic situations. It will probably invoke more people like the sadistic man to come forward, but it also teaches people to value their life. Though he should not play God, i thought that the movie couldn`t have been much better. i hope there`s a "SAW: 2".

I just watched the movie, was VERY good. Very deep, great story/setup, was completely unpredictable. Wasn`t necessarily scary, was simply intense and dramatic. Scary would be The Grudge movie. Only downside was the acting of the doctor wasn`t all that convincing, atleast certainly not during the first half. The ending, I never would have guessed it, but I wish it would have ended a bit more cheerful!!!

I have no idea how anyone could hate this movie. It was very well written and had a very good story. I recommend it to horror lovers anywhere. For the people who said it was lame have no taste in horror movies go watch a love story would ya.

nothing wrong with this movie...if you enoy horror films...now alot of people are saying the acting is bad....IT`s LOW BUDGET!!!!and it`s a horror movie!! much better then the horror film nowadays.

ok. saw was amazing but u can`t compare it to se7en. se7en was a hollywood movie ans saw is an indepentant film. that what i have to say about that. now saw was so cool it will be ify if the wan`t to make a saw2. just cause 2nd movies always suck. so to the film makers don`t make a sequel if the story dones`t blow the first out of the sky. choose to live or die?

Excellent movie for this genre. Only recent comparable movie I can think of is Seven. Jaw dropping ending. Those who don`t like this movie are probably not horror flick aficionados to begin with, because this is one of the best horror flicks you will see.

The movie was very well written and had qiute a lot of twist and turns throughout the entire production. I have seen many horror films in the past and I feel that this movie was excentric and contained many scenes, in which you didn`nt know what was going to happen next. This was a definite 5 star movie.

I`ve just watched Saw on the UK DVD release. Very well written, acted and filmed - and a decent twist ! Highly recommended viewing. Lets hope to see more from this Director.

I think the ending left me a bit inconclusive. I wanted to know what happened to everyone. It makes you pick your own ending. Personally i think there will be a second one just because the story was left too open.

This has to be one of the best thought out movies in a looonnnnggg time. The ending was amazing and since they didn`t have much time to film it, I thought it was great!!!!!!!! One of the best psychological movies ever!!!!!!!!

My wife and I saw this movie at the cheap theatre. We both felt ripped off even though the movie only costed $2 each. All this movie will do is give some sick-oh ideas on how to kill someone. A total waste of time and money. TOTALLY SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those who actually understand the Horror genre this was excellent. Stylistically claustraphobic, good gore but not over the top and a usually disappointing ending turned into a perfect ending. Good to see directors of horror continuing to break new ground.

Unpleasant and mindless thriller that will leave you feeling "ill". Not because of the film`s grotesque violence but because you just wasted 90 minutes of your life and you will never get it back.

BIt silly really, and the ending was bizarre! Could have been good, but didnt seem to have been thought through properly. A lame attempt at se7en. wouldnt bother with it again to be honest.

enjoyed the acting actually! Quite suspenseful, I certainly did not pick the ending - a few confusing points- maybe I will see it again to try to work out those bits.

I found it extremly sidistic & disturbing. One big mind warp from opening to closing scene.I love a good horror flic, but I would not class this as horror. A cross between Seven,& Silence of the Lambs....to the nth degree.

Most original recycling of the genre since `Seven`. Keeping in touch with plot and characterisation of the leads whilst truely teasing the audience for all it was worth. Excellent.

I can only ponder the deamons that must exist within the mind of someone who can conceive something as brutal as `Saw`. I feel... not so much humbled but, more in awe of the imagination. The ending did leave me somewhat satisfied, although the audience is left to guess at the absolute resolution of the charactors lives. Perhaps that is was was intended? I, however would have preferred...something a little more final. I do see alternate endings appearing on the DVD when it arrives, though. The film is directed by James Wan (an Australian, supprisingly), and stars Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter and Leigh Whannell (writer of the sc

I`m not sure why everyone said the ending was predictable, I never would have thought it up... =| Personally, I thought it was great... acting was somewhat dodgy and hilariously bad at times, but if they had better actors this movie would have been so much better.
