I was expecting a great film, but this beat expectations. The effects are great, the characters are well developed, there are definte surprises (especially for Firefly fans!) and there are underlying morals to the story. It is incredibly humourous, but not in a campy way, yet also very exciting. I truly hope there is a sequal. Many say it was cancelled too soon on TV, but I think this story and these characters have found their place on film. Out of 10 I would give it 9.5, it is actually that good! best movie ive seen in a long time. If you loved the tv show like i did you will love the movie even more TOTALLY AWESOME!!! Check it out. Lots of fun, I wasn`t familiar with the TV series but I understood what was going on and enjoyed it thoroughly. SERENITY IS ASHTONISHING!!! SERENITY IS THE BEST SCI-FI FILM SINCE THE MATRIX!!! Finally a movie that justifies going to the theatres! Don`t wait for the DVD, the movie must be experienced on the BIG screen to do it justice. This movie brings back all the fond memories of past decades when going to the movies was an EVENT. Bring your kids, let them experience what you felt the first time you watched "Star Wars" or "Jaws", when a movie becomes a part of cultural history. Don`t miss it! |
