Good concept, great animation, excellent performances - but somewhere along the line it just didn`t quite hit the mark. The kids enjoyed it but were restless way before the end which was not a problem during Shrek 2. The comedy was too subtle and most of the jokes got missed as the plot seemed to bounce from one thing to another far too quickly. Too much of it was aimed at the adults in the audience at the expense of the younger ones, who really just didn`t get it atall! Shame really as i think it could have been much better. Still an entertaining movie to watch all the same, just not a great one.
It`s really a DVD movie, not something worth spending money to go to the theatre.I can`t believe people are comparing this joke of an animated movie to Finding Nemo and Shrek. The makers of this movie most likely depended on the all star cast to bring in money than the actual story.I was not impressed at all. The jokes were fine but it was BLAH like bland food!
Great movie, right up there with Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo! Kept us all entertained, from ages 3-23!
The movie was awesome i think everyone should go to see it it would blow you away....i think shrek 2 beats it so if u liked that movie u will most likely like shark tale.
Shark Tale was AWESOME!! I think it`s my favourite comedy/animation flicks. I can`t wait for it to be released on DVD (and I haven`t bought any dvd`s in the last 24 years). IT IS THE BEST!!

Loads of laugh from start to finish! plot was good, the animation was AMAZING ~ Loved it! Definitely getting the DVD when it comes out!
IT was okay. Not very funny, although there were some great performances (ie: Jack Black as Lenny, and the two rastafarian jelly-fish, and De Niro and some of the other sharks). Overall, it`s got the same Dreamworks recipe, which is the `modernization` of any environment (take a time period or place and make it metropolitan)... Sometimes the colours are garish, and there is way too much going on to focus on any one thing. Not as good as Nemo, or Shrek 2.
