Very well crafted film which I would not suggest for the average mindless American movie goer.

this was the worst movie i have seen in my life. the beggining starts off good and it slowly deteriorates into some very boring adult "novella" i left before it ended because it was so bad.
i have seen shopgirl 10 times love clare danes i think she will be nominated for a oscar her nude scene was very discreit i have seen all or most of her movies including little women,breakdown palace and stage beauty along with polish wedding and the mod squad would love to meet her

Great movie! If you like romantic drama, you`ll love this movie. Claire Danes looks so cute in this movie (gorgeous eyes and smile, aaahhhh) and Jason Schwartzman is terrific providing the comedic punch. The music score is beautiful. This is a mature love story and a film you`ll never forget. Go see it. -- Jeremy007
