Ce film est un véritable bain de sang et ce du début jusqu`à la toute fin.Cependant ,les performances des acteurs ne sont pas mauvaises et le concepte est plutôt original.Finalement,je vous réfère à ce films uniquement si vous n`avez rien d`autre à regarder ,car il n`est sur tout pas conçu pour plaire aux coeurs légers...

I loved sin ciy it was really well put together i di not get the point of the movie intill like half way through but when clive owen was with the bar maid it all cane together for me u can really c how its all related except 4 the parts with josh harnett

I loved what Rodregez did with the simulations in the movie. The mix between comic strip characters and real people. He lifted me out of my movie seats into a world of fiction that was believable. Excellent story .

This movie seems to be one of those strange things in life that you absolutely love or absolutely hate, with no "mids" or "soso" For me, the movie is really good.... I really enjoyed it.... I mean, I loved it.

Sin City was a pretty good movie. However I find that the last part of the movie with Bruce Willis` charcter was too long as well as dumb. The orange man threw me off the whole thing. Other than that it was a good movie. If there were halves I would rate it 3.5, but im generous so it gets a 4.

FROM JAE: I voted 4 stars. PROS: The movie was entertaining. Casting was on the money. Cinematography was superb. The ppl that complained about the plot, I can’t blame them because they were expecting only one story with a beginning, middle and end. What they don’t realize is that Frank Miller created, and is still creating, these powerful short stories, or yarns, that intertwine within Sin City. CONS: To be nit picky, I noticed editing errors such as missing blood spots within scenes. Also, some (and only some) of the “straight from comic” dialogue was a bit wonky. This movie is definitely not one to be missed. However it may noy appeal to some people that either do not like comics or very closed minded. The movie is about one key thing "a corrupt city". There is like 3 mini stories that revolve around the movie and they come together near the end. The movie itself is self explanatory and its pretty entertaining. I recommend people to view this movie it also has a cinematic difference and style unlike most movies we see today. I give it 5/5 =).

FROM JAE: Interesting review, but I am curious to know where these ppl come from so I may set a point of view. A teen and a mother of 2 may not see the same movie. It also seems that there are more EXTREME LIKES and DISLIKES then there are ppl in the middle. If you have comments based on this review, by all means please REPLY. Very good movie ( 4 Stars ). The only thing that made it 4 instead of 5 was the fact that it was too fragmented. However, it is also violent and graphic which is why it is rated 18A not PG. DO NOT BRING YOUNG KIDS TO WATCH THIS. Too many poeple walked into the movie with young ones and then walked out disgusted. READ THE MOVIE RATING!

This movie was horrible. I have not read any of the comics so maybe this is why I thought it was bad. It`s never a good sign when you are sad that there is still more left of the movie, I was beginning to hope that the credits would finally roll after the end of every scene. If you have no idea of what this movie is about other than what you have seen on commericials, don`t see it.

I think this is a great movie. It has an interesting plot but you have to look beyound the plot. You also have to look at its technique on how it was put together. The use of color in this was great. I love especially the color on the eyes. I guess those who voted one star only judge by the plot.

Being a projectionist at a theatre I`m around movies every day of my life. The hype up was enormous for this film. Having read the comics I was almost sure I was leading up to a great big let down. Thank god that didn`t happen. The movie was beyond excellent. Those who talk down about it don`t understand true film and literal devices, such as the time jumps were used flawlessly. Also the all-star line up out performed any other cast of its kind. I highly recommend this movie for anyone who truely loves the art that is filmmaking.

Dear Frank Miller, This movie is stupendous, It is like no other, I definetly see what you are trying to do you are combining the future with the present to bring a futuristic movie play. I think it is remarkable something different to the viewers, a momumental screen play that I will forever look up to. Frank miller you are my idol

Okay, first off, whoever said it sucks because of the "advanced" plot, that`s completely only making you look back. What makes the movie so great is the intelligently plotted storyline. They jump from one instant to the next to make it more interesting and to make it seem as if everything in Sin City happens at once. Many movies have done this before, look at Kill Bill Vol. 1 for instance. THAT only makes the movie more enjoyable, unique and smart. I give it 5/5! Good job Rodriguez, you`ve done it again!

If you loved Kill Bill you`d definately love this movie. Very good filmotography. However, the opinion on this movie is very divided so warning "if you didn`t like kill bill you won`t like this either"

what a great movie..its a pitty that you have idiot out there who just can`t see a good movie when it smacks them in the face...sorry this wasn`t Water World, but this actually was unique unlike most other movies. 4 stars...out of 4 stars

In my older age, I think that I enjoy the things from my past more and more. This comic book movie was a return to my youth when I read a lot of comic books. I thought it was very stylish and enjoyed the voice over. It is truely amazing what they can do with computer graphics these days. This is the second such movie I have seen which was computer produced (Sky Captain) and I enjoyed both very much. After all, movies are for entertainment...and I was entertained.

I was told not to bother seeing this movie but did not listen thank goodness, movie`s are a brief escape from reality Sin City is certainly that. Look forward to buying the DVD.

SICK! I dragged my wife out to it and she accused me of only wanting to go for Jessica Alba....2 hours later she apologized and wanted to join a Mickey Rourke fanclub. (truth be told though, i did just wanted to see it because of Alba- but it was so entertaining I`d contemplate going again. Everybody is in the movie too- from huge star to obscure tv actor..N.Katt (boston Public), and Rourke were both hilarious.

I hated this movie. There was little cohesion in the plot, a hard to follow story line, and a non linear time line. You jump from past to 8 years later then back to past, then back to the present, and they don`t tell you when it`s happening. Definitely one of the worst movies I`ve seen in awhile.

i was so very happy wen i saw this movie cause i tried so hard to find a way to c it with only being 13.but i saw it an walked out amazed.this is a perfect example of excellent movie.the best comic book film even better then spider man.film noir never has bin so good.

The film does indeed have a stunning look, but nothing more. Its sole focus is on surface aesthetics. The slender plot-lines — there are three of them — are merely the occasion for what one character calls the “pure hateful bloodthirsty joy of slaughter.” Long before its two hours expires, the film’s exquisite style has become tedious, hollow, and the drama itself, a colossal bore.

I saw this movie with my girlfriend and another couple, both woman hated it, absolutly hated it. I myself, exected more, although it was stylishly shot and there were some interesting special effects. Overall the movie was boring. The violence was exciting at first but it just continued through the whole movie losing its shock value ,
