Totally unbearable with the complicated characters. Some audience left the cinema commented....I dont understand what the story is about and I am an educated guy!!!!! Too complicated to absorb....may be you need to see again to appreciate but is definately too dull to go for the 2nd time ! Excllent in every respect except for the screen play itself which was lacking in clarity and left this viewer wondering if the best parts of the story had been left on the cutting floor. In spite of the excellent acting I would rate this a two star film at best. wow...u know when they say thats 2 hrs i;ll never get back...perfect example here. honestly, those who left after a half hour were the lucky ones. 2 words, bo-ring. painfully slow, sorry, but its a sleeper, i almost bailed myself... poorly edited, plot wasn`t well developed, very disappointing. I loved the era that this took place in, and the style was really well captured, I found. One thing that I wish I knew before seeing the movie, is that although the movie is about a truelife crime, there is a lot of fiction in it. I wish I had kept this in mind when going to see it. Overall, not a bad movie. the movie was really good. i enjoyed it, the suspense and the acting. Hilary Swank, you have a new fan. I must say tho, was the lesbian sex really necessary? THE BLACK DAHLIA IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS OF THE YEAR!!! ITS INCREDIBLE!!! |
