I did enjoy some of the action scenes and the portrayal of a scorched earth was very well done. However I did think that many parts were also very weak. Are we supposed to think that God made this character an awesome warrior? Why all the importance on the King James' Bible? Wouldn’t every pre- apocalypse book in its own right be valuable? I would imagine some books on Chemistry or Agriculture; even simple carpentry would be of more benefit. I knew what I was getting into when I went to the movie in regards to religious overtones but I thought that the material would be presented better or at least more realistically. Mila Kunis' character said it best when she said something along the lines

Wow what a movie. What a surprise, I was thinking like Mad Max type one, But wow this blew us out of our seats. On the edge action/triller we would say.5 stars no where enough! Oscer performance. Can't wait to see it again.
