What an incredible movie! Loved the acting, intrigue, locations, mysteries,etc.!!! Thoroughly enjoyable movie!!!
Does not do justice to book
Yah I know, this was a best selling book and the movie is made by Ron Howard and stars Tom Hanks, but despite the book, the movie was pretty bad. Even if I believed all of the hoopla as being facts, is still makes it a pretty bad movie. The film is based on a University Symbologist who unravels historic codes to reveal the biggest secret in history. Unfortunately movie flows poorly, and much of the events and claims are very far fetched. Like the elderly man who is shot in the beginning actually has the energy to get naked, and write several sentences in his own blood. Yah right. Good but a little overplayed. The book is MUCH better!
Very entertaining. Worth watching.
Of course the book was much better. And as all books made into movies they changed too many things instead of sticking to the book.
Read the book instead, it is much more interesting and coherent.
