This movie is very loud. it is also not very good. Batman and the Joker are different aspects of the same desire for revenge. There is the obvious link to the issue of terrorism. The acting is one dimensional. The observations are commonplace. The sound effects are deafening. This is not a good movie.
Excellent script, actors (except Maggie Gyllenhall) and action sequences. I will definitely be watching this several times.
I went to the movie trying to ignore all the hype. Completely awesome the best comic book based movie I have ever seen. Just go see it don't wait for DVD this is one that has to be seen in the theatre.
