LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT. Keannu and Sandra have fantastic chemistry. Saw this movie after a bad day at work and was very uplifted. The audience actually applauded at the end of the movie. This is the first time I have seen this in a long time. If you like love stories, this is the movie for you. Very refreshing and thought provoking.

This is another Hollywood movie which remake from Asia movie. This movie original from Korea, the movie name is "Siworae". It first came our in Korea 2000. After huge sucess in Korea this movie had showed in many countries in Asia by the name "Il Mare". If you like this movie, you should try to get the original one. Then you will like the original more than this Holloywood version.

I found it quite boreing and very confusing. If it hadn`t been for liking Sandra and Kenu so much, I really would have hated it.

How disappointing! Such talented actors in such a disjointed story. The movie jumps around from 2004 to 2006. The story line in very weak. If these two really wanted to meet each other, they could have found where each was in 2003 or 2004 and then met.Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are such talented people is it a shame to see them in such a poorly directed movie. Christopher Plummer"s talents are wasted in this poorly developed script.

Not nearly as bad as some of the reviews. Suspend disbelief at the timeline issue and you`ve got a decent movie. Keanu, who I usually find a rather stoic actor, does a good job in this role. I thought the chemistry between the two leads was as good as it was in Speed.

It was a great film because it made you think, "How are they going to get together?" It does get a bit confusing but it I found it sort of like a game trying to figure out the chronological events. It brings you closer to the characters and gets you personally involved with the show. Thanks to the writers. It was also great to see two fine Canadian actors. I hope that Keanu will soon get the credit that he deserves because he is a fine actor. This was a great love story that I would definitely go and see again!

Not since "You`ve got Mail", "Sleepless in Seattle" or "An Affair to Remember" have I seen such a clever and beautiful piece of fine film. It`s what love stories were truly meant to be and be seen. A brilliant movie. Keanu and Sandra have such a wonderful romantic chemistry, and they clearly show it as they rekindle their magic after 12 years since they first debuted in the film "Speed". You relate to the characters and feel for them. This film is on top of my list as one of the best love stories that have ever been shown on the big screen. It`s a movie that you want to take your loved ones to - A MUST SEE! Don`t let this movie pass you by. S

It was a little confusing at the beginning but it made sense as it went on. I was really glad to sandra and keanu working together again and it was a really good movie!!!

It was a guilty pleasure to watch. You knew how the story would progress and you definately knew how it would end but still it was wonderfully romantic. It was great to see Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves staring together in a movie again. Their chemistry is amazing.

it was and ok movie, i cried, but i`m a girl. the premise was interesting but utterly unbelievable. midway thru the movie we were able to figure out the plot for the remainder of the film. on the upside, keanu`s acting has improved.

It was a nice romantic movie but at times the Time Shifts were a little tricky to follow. Keanu was amazing as always! Overall, it was a nice movie with a great ending.

Beautiful to watch. The store is cleverly constructed and well acted. Christopher Plummer is wonderful in a supporting role. The architecture and landscape of Chicago become a wonderful supporting characters.

beautiful . . . beautifully acted, beautifully written, beautiful scenery. This film was touching and sweet. A little confusing at the end, but thoroughly enjoyable. The chemistry between Keanu and Sandra is unbelievably amazing! Someone wrote a comment saying that you can`t think too much while watching the movie because you`ll get even more confused and it`s totally true. Go see Lake House!

I don`t understand why no one can come up with an original Idea, this is a movie that has been done already by Jane Semore and Chris reeves in Some where in time. That being said I still did actually enjoy it. It was a complete chick flick I saw it with litterally about 25 women and 1 man! but other than that again it was a complete guilty pleasure.

It was so nice to see a movie without special effects,violence, and gratuitous sex. A film about nice people and decency. I loved it...a beautiful love store based around a really interesting concept. You do have to park your brain at the door a little though. Go see it.
