the fight scenes were cool but, other than that the film sucked not the best version of the book i`ve seen!!! the disney one is the best by far!! but i have one question, why can`t the movie actually be based on what happens in the book, not what the director wants to happen? The music was great, the fight scenes were amazaing, but the story and the screenplay was horrible. The picture quality looked as if it was made in the 1950 s. The story line was weak, however the acting was terrible. The only thing that saved this film was Tim Roth. I give this movie, on a scale of 1-10 i give this film a solid, final 6. It was horrible and we walked out. Absolutely no point!! Cool on action, although totally meaningless at times. Sometimes the film went so far into the realm of unbelievability, it became laughable. Overall, the picture was like watching Star Wars set in 17th century France. By the way, I had no idea they made bullet-proof corsets back then!!! |
