I heard a group of teenagers talking about how great this movie was - quite surprised this generation like it so well - everything they have been watching has been so different - maybe life hasn`t changed that much after all
It was a good movie as far as the `scare` factor was concerned, but they could have done deeper into the plot.
Just different enough from the original.
I was never so scared in my entire life. I saw the original and was frightened, but this remake scared me right out of my seat! I had to sleep with the lights on for a few days. Couldn`t get it out of my mind. It made my hair stand on end. Go see it!
A MUST SEE - kids should see it in the afternoon - sleeping could be a problem

The movie was quite scary at times, but not a great plot.
disappointing. not enough scary Damien moments! most of the movies is sleuthing trying to educate us on the story of why Damien came to them. It was interesting, but not at all the scary thriller I expected it to be! Now that we know the history, maybe the sequels will be better!
Its basically the same as the original, but more modernized. Some gorey scenes, but not a very freightening horror flick, however does have a good storyline. It was a good watch
