if the Annabella Piugattuk doesnt get an academy award for her performance they should quit giving them. this movie was downright amazing... I just really want to get my hands on the story it was adapted from. It left me wanting to know more. Great family film ,well put together we enjoyed this very much. its absoloutly amazing its so good i just loved it so badly ,i`m going to tell every body about it Amazing, it was absolutely amazing! I live in Churchill,Mb. The fact that the movie was partially filmed here makes it much more personal. Meeting the cast and the crew was great. All of them were so dedicated, they proved that by surviving our harsh, cold winter days, and nights! You all were great, fun, hard working people, and it was a pleasure to have met you all! Touching, Magnificant and extremely moving. I was greatly moved by the strength of character of the Inuit woman and how she sacrificed her own health for the health of another. It was wonderful to see the transformation of the pilot`s character from non-caring to deeply touched and greatful for all this woman sacrificed for him. A wonderous movie full of life`s challenges, strength of character, and spiritual beauty inside another`s soul. Thanks for making such a great Canadian film. Probably the most enjoyable movie that I have ever viewed. The acting was superb, especially that of Annabella Piugattuk and the role that she played - even though she was playng herself. The storyline was entirely realistic and believable and the scenery is stunningly beautiful and at the same time harsh - just the way it is. Congratulations on a superb movie. I certainly hope that we see more of Annabella Piugattuk in the future. Absolutely outstanding. Wonderful cast; incredible acting; DVD has terrific documentary and director voice over. A must see; I have watch and watch this movie and love it more each time. I saw it in the theatre, and was glad I went to this "Canadian" movie as it was just wonderfully done. A pleasure to watch. I was touched by this woman`s strength and agility considering her illness. She became his balance on an uneven playing field, his equal partner for survival, and his tutor, essentially his life. In spite of his preconceptions of who she was he learned, became aware of her value, and ultimately his. Well done. |
