okay so i thought the book was 10 times better than the movie, but i liked it because it was twilight. if it wasn't based on twilight then i would have hated it.
i was soooooooooooooo dissapointed.but i think edward looks cute!!!!!!!!!!!
All i can say is WOW!!!! I've never been so taken in by something as i have this movie.. It's rare to have a movie effect someone as twilight has me.. I can't wait to see the other three books made into movies.. Again, WOW!!!
Good thing the book is out there to tell the real story, cause this movie sure didn't do the job.
What was so great about it? Totally confused by these vampires climbing trees and sparkling in sunlight. If there was a romance there, I missed it. No high points at all. It's like a good dose of morphine; you don't a feel a thing.
Yawn. Severely overrated.
Yikes. I was looking for tomatoes to throw. Don't understand where all the good ratings are coming from!?!? Good books don't necessarily make good movies. The story was quite close, but they failed to make the necessary changes to get the feel of story across on the big screen... ie prolonging the romance and intensifying the dangers. Poor adaptation! Ghastly directing and acting. It's only saving grace was that the actors looked right for the parts.
After reading all four books and then rereading them again, I did not expect the complexity of Bella and Edward's relationship to be captured on film all that well because alot of it can't be demonstrated in words, but on a more instense level. Going into it, I did not expect it to be amazing, it was really good despite missing some crucial parts of the novel. Although it wasn't everything it could have been I can't wait until the next three. The Twilight series is AMAZING.
