The original Umrao Jaan is the only Indian film I have ever liked. This new version could have been a breakthrough film for India, but remains, at the most, typical.
This movie is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW. Beautifull made and acting is wonderful but no effort is made to capture the audiences attention.

honestly..ash has never looked as stunning as she did in this movie..to top it all...songs were really nice...definitly better dan dat the old Umraao Jaan

Great movie! Aishwarya proves why she is still in the business despite not having a release for a while. The first half is slow but the second half makes up for it. Great movie :)
