I love sci-fi movies, but all i have to say is bad script, bad acting, and a waste of my $14. There are better ways to waste 2 hours of your life....stay home instead.

Not a bad movie. Special Effects are exceptionally good but the movie lacks plots line. What we see are a couple of she-dracula with big racks flying around.

It`s one of those movies that you have to watch more than once so you can pick up on all the references you missed.. there was a lot involved in it. For all the mystic and Biblical references they put in I thought they tied it together pretty well. The friar is hilarious.. gotta love the comic relief!

I thought the movie was amazing. Hugh Jackmann is an amazing actor. I`ve always been fascinated with vampire/dracula movies. This movie ROCKS! Great job Hugh and Kate.

I enjoyed it. Entertaining aand visually engrossing. Obviously this is not for those looking for depth and character developement and was not too be judged by such standards. I walked out satisfied and would see it again. Would like a sequel.

Was it supposed to be a commedy? I thought the movie was terrible, definatly not worth the price of admission at the theatre.

This wasn`t too bad of a movie. It sure did have its high points. And it was neat how all those monster movies are kinda tied together. I like how Dracula had 3 brides and sent wearwolfs to do his biding. Bram Stoker would have like that :) Anyway. not too bad of a flick. but not the best. Its worth renting that`s for sure!!

Van Helsing was the most "horrific" feature I have seen in awhile. Taking a good idea, combined with a not-so good script = Failure...to much flash isn`t always better. hopefully this little missadventure won`t kill Hugh Jackmans movie career...

I loved it!!!!!!!!! The action and special effects were amazing, and the weaponry was incredibly real. All in all, DEFINITELY 5 stars.

Hey all you analytical freaks out there. It is just a movie and movies are suppost to be entertaining Right! Well VH. is! It`s campy it`s fun, the effects rock! Who doesn`t like the original monster types even if they are slightly out of context. Whatever!!!! Relax, turn off your lobational analysis and sit back and get entertained.

Great action movie. Kate Beckinsale is hot!!! However, the story was complicated and the ending was reeeeally corny. 7/10

Disapointed. I love overly dramatic, overly cheesy, impossible comic movies... but I duno. I just couldn`t believe or get into this one right from the start.

Wonderful script, great effects, lousy acting by Dracula. If you can get past that, and the campy "brides of dracula" it`s a great movie. Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckingsdale are fantastic.

MEDIOCRE flick! The movie could have had potential, but somewhere down the line, the movie just went cheesy. I admit, the movie was great for its special effects (humans transforming into werewolves and bats, "brides" changing from human to vampire, vampire babies dropping like green paint, etc), but the plot was weakly written and produced. The accent used was atrocious.

What a disappointment!! I thought the idea for the movie was great, but it got quite goofy at the end. Special effects were good, but overall not anywhere near what I had hoped for. Hopefully Spiderman 2 will not let us down.

This movie was TERRIBLE. WORST ACTING EVER. Worst accents ever. and the guy that played dracula just looked like the average bum off the street. It had so much potention but it was dissapointing in every way.

Overall, the movie was not bad. I think they attempted to keep some of the "cheesy" thriller elements of the old-fashioned horror flicks while adding a bit of current nuance to it. I wish the story line had been more compelling however and up to the calibre that Hugh Jackman could have pulled off lovely with a better script... but overall... not bad.

AMAZING, FULL OF ACTION AND FUN i`d say this is the best and most well done classic master-piece and the creatures r amazing.....and Kate Beckinsale....damn shes really sexy and hot and beautiful :D

I loved this i am only 12 but it was a great movie.a lot of people jumped at parts becasue the suspence waas so great. one of hugh Jackmans best movies.Kate Beckinsale`s best movie. Lots of action and suspense . I rate it a 4.5

This movie sucked! This movie had the makings of been really good, but the special effects and acting brought it down....way down! The only good thing was looking at Kate in tights and hearing her talking in that accent. MEOW!! Wait for it to come to the cheap theatre or on video. I couldn`t believe that Famous Players were playing this awful movie in 3 theatres!! I would rather see Mission to Mars again before I`d see this. Save your money.

Anyone who thinks Van Helsing is a good movie needs to be shot. This movie has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Not only did the plot lack, but there is very poor character development. I am disgusted with this movie and cannot say much more because it hurts me to talk about the worthless piece of junk this movie is.

It wasn`t worth the $14 i paid to watch it. Adventure...sure, fine, whatever, but Pirates of the Caribean was an adventure, and it still had great acting. This film was boring, predictable, and overdone. Boo for Van Helsing!!

Huge disappointment. Bad acting, bad dialogue. Action scenes were the only decent part of this film. Not in the same league as The Mummy at all. This is a truly campy B movie. Some of the lines / scenes were so hokey they were comical instead.

Wow... where to start? The dialogue in this film is terrible! The special effects are nothing special for the most part and are downright bad in some scenes. The plot is just plain stupid. The action sequences must have been written by an ex-trapeze artist, as EVERY scene involves somebody swinging on something. Throw in poor pacing, bad editting (apparently clocks take 10-15 minutes to finish striking 12 in Transylvania) and EVIL JAWAS??? and you end up with over two hours of your life wasted. Not the worst movie ever, but there really isn`t anything good about the film.

COOL. Lots of characters and special effects to impress. However, this is not a mindless action film- it`s very long and the story may confuse some people.
