I loved this movie.... not only was it an honest portrayal of the business back than but also an honest portrayal of love and hardship... I went to see this movie originally for Reese... as I loved her in "Election" (one of her more serious roles.) However was blown away by Phoenix... to me he is the only Oscar contender this year... What`s up with druged up Rock Stars over coming there past & addictions... only later to have actors play them & win oscars for them.... Ray Charles- Jamie Fox= Oscar, Johnny Cash-Phoenix= Oscar... WOW all those drugs and they really did get it right. If he doesn`t win an oscar for this role I will be so mad... h
