If this is the end of the trilogy I suppose their decision to dispose of certain characters was indeed ok, otherwise this move could be fatal the integrity of the x-man universe, the story itself is somewhat contrived and uninspiring, but the special effects kind of make up for the lack of a polished story, but overall this movie is entertaining, but some X man fans might be disappointed I know I was. boooo
i loved this installment of x-men, but some parts were a little boring.
Satisfying popcorn movie, but the change in directors made the movie less than its predecessors. I found the movie jumped from set-piece to set-piece without any smooth transitions. With so many characters, we got a scene or two of a character and then don`t see much of them until the climax. Shiny to look at, poor character and plot development. I`d still see a sequel though.
Not as good as the first or second XMen but not the worst movie I`ve seen. The plot was okay but just seemed a bit dragged out.
Action-packed, predictable and bad story-line. You decide.
All and all a good movie. Can`t wait for the next one to come and definately glad I waited till the end of the credits ;)
I thought they tried to do too much with the time given. They should have focused on just one story line (i.e. Jean Grey/Phoenix or the mutant cure - not both)
