Landmark Cinemas 10 Waterloo (Empire Theatres)

Now the largest cinema in the Waterloo area, this 10-screen multiplex marked a major milestone for the Empire Theatres chain in November 2010 when it opened. It was the first theatre under the Empire banner to add an Empire Extra auditorium in Canada. Located on a new city development called The Boardwalk in the town’s west end, the theatre has curved screens, stadium-style seating, 3D capability in five auditoriums and digital projection for all screens. The theatre also has an expansive lobby with plush leather seating and large rooms that can be used for guest, community and corporate use. The complex has since been purchased by Landmark.
