The King's Speech is the story of a reluctant king's struggle to gain comfort on the throne. Colin Firth is George 'Bertie' VI, a timid monarch that enlists an unorthodox speech therapist (Geoffrey Rush) to ease his transition to becoming King George the VI.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer chats with director Tom Hooper about the period piece.
