George Clooney’s political drama The Ideas of March seems like a perfect fit for actor Jeffrey Wright, who grew up in Washington and majored in political science in college.
Wright sat down with Bonnie Laufer of Tribute at the Toronto International Film Festival to talk about his thoughts on politics, why the role was right up his alley and what notorious prankster George Clooney is like off-camera. He also discusses his work in the upcoming film adaptation of the Jonathan Safran Foer novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which he calls “an incredibly moving story.”
