Director Lasse Hallström (Chocolat, Dear John) sat down with Ola Sturik of Tribute at TIFF 2011 to talk about his work on the big-screen adaptation of the British novel Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, a comedic tale about a fisheries expert who’s tasked with helping to introduce salmon and sport fishing to the Middle Eastern country. Hallström reminisces about working with Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor on the film and explains the importance of chemistry between stars.
