Madonna wore a Tom Ford dress on the red carpet last night to promote her second movie as a director -- W.E. -- about a woman (played by Abbie Cornish) who obsesses about divorcée Wallis Simpson, for whom King Edward gave up his throne. Introduced "one of the most famous people in the world" on the red When asked what sacrifices she's made, Madonna answered: "You make a lot of sacrifices and compromises. For instance, I didn't get to see my kids very much. So that was a big compromise because I love my movie. So you always have to give up something for something you love, right?"
