Director Joel Schumacher (Batman Forever, The Phantom of the Opera) knows how to violate boundaries. His thriller Trespass is about a home invasion that quickly escalates to risky negotiations, unexpected deceit, and exploding violence.

Schumacher stopped by on the morning of the Trespass premiere at the Toronto International Festival to talk to Bonnie Laufer of Tribute about developing the film and to discuss how it relates to the social situation in the US.
