TIFF Kids International Film Festival

TIFF Kids International Film Festival, which is taking place from April 10 to the 22, showcases a wide variety of movies from Canada and around the world. Not just entertaining for children and parents alike, they spark a meaningful conversation regarding the issues young people face today. This unique film festival offers programing for children between the ages of three and 13. On Tuesday April 17 at 9:45 a.m. and Sunday April 22 at 12:15 p.m. children between the ages of ten and 13 can watch the German film The Crocodiles: All for One,  about a gang of young detectives taking on a dangerous case to save their friend's life. On Wednesday, April 18, children from grades one to three can watch three unique animated films derived from childrens' books. These three movies range from eight minutes to a half hour long. Even though all films have recommended age groups, kids of any age as well as parents are invited to watch. TIFF Kids international Film Festival has a varity of films suitable and interesting to children. TIFF will also be hosting their first TIFF Next Wave Film Festival from May 10 to 12, which is for youth ages 14 to 18. ~Krystin Edgerton
