Yesterday at a press conference, the lineup for this year’s Toronto International Film Festival was released. With 17 galas, 45 special presentations, and 38 world premieres, this year’s festival is sure to be an incredible event.
Some of the big stars scheduled to attend include Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt – just to name a few! These stars will be promoting their new films at the festival. The opening film at TIFF this year is Rian Johnson’s Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt. Gordon-Levitt re-tweeted from @Loopermovie, “We are thrilled, honored and a little terrified to be the opening night film at this year's Toronto Film Festival.”
Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper will be at TIFF to promote their film Silver Linings Playbook and Ryan Gosling’s movie with girlfriend Eva Mendes, The Place Beyond the Pines, will make its world premiere in Toronto.
The festival runs from September 6-16 this year. As the date draws closer, more stars scheduled to attend will be announced.
