Director Walter Salles' new film On the Road, based on the classic novel by Jack Kerouac, premiered last night at the Ryerson Theatre. On hand were stars Kristen Stewart, making her first public appearance since her cheating scandal with her married Snow White & the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, and co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst. Stewart took time to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans before the premiere. Some Twilight fans had camped out since early morning to see Kristen, who stars alongside former boyfriend Robert Pattinson in the Twilight series. Kristen, who was dressed in a beautiful, flowery Zuhair Murad gown, was dumped by Pattinson, after her cheating became public. However, the fans who came to see her seemed to offer support and she often broke away from the press cameras to greet them. On the Road also screens this morning at 11:30 a.m. at The Bloor Hot Docs Cinema.

Comments:
She looked great. Good to see her out and about...important to move forward.
Look at her photos... she has no emotional range.
Regardless who cheated on who, she still deserves to live her life. Honestly, she did not look as good as before. But considering what she has been going thru (at least from what we have read), it's good for her to take the first step of getting out there.
