The documentary Room 237 sheds light on some of the hidden themes and messages in 1980’s The Shining, a film that had a big influence on director Rodney Ascher and producer Tim Kirk. The duo explained to Tribute.ca that the film isn’t a behind-the-scenes project but more of an examination of how a film can impact its audience.
