The crowd went wild when Johnny Depp appeared on the red carpet to promote his new film, Black Mass, at the VISA Screening Room at TIFF, screaming his name over and over. Some people told us they’d waited for as long as six hours to see him. Erica McDermott, who played Whitey Bulger’s sister-in-law, revealed that Johnny Depp was so transformed for his role that he could silence a room just by entering it.
Black Mass opens in theatres nationwide September 18.
