In the trailer for the 2016 spy thriller Criminal, Kevin Costner is Jericho Stewart, a deadly and sociopathic criminal. Jericho is captured and undergoes a medical procedure at the hands of two heads of intelligence (Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Oldman). He wakes up in a hospital bed with the memories and skills of a dead CIA operative by the name of Bill Pope (Ryan Reynolds). It is now up to this criminal to help figure out the whereabouts of a dangerous terrorist, as well as try to reconcile his new, very different life.
