Kicks - Official Trailer

In the official trailer for Kicks, we see a teenager running from a group of people at night. As he runs, a voiceover says, "Sometimes, I wish I had a spaceship. Just hang out in space where it's quiet, and no one can mess with me." Before the viewer can discern exactly what's happening, the scene shifts.

As the trailer continues, we're taken to a place called East Bay. The male teenager from the beginning of the trailer introduces us to his friends. They smoke, ride bikes and play basketball. But the protagonist gets involved in a business with shoes, or "kicks." Things quickly go south, and we see him become embroiled in a messy situation where guns are the main players and life is something frequently put in jeopardy.
