In the second trailer for The Greatest Showman, P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman) is having a hard time making a go of it. Unable to support his family in the way he promised, he reinvents himself. He puts together a show where people can see things they've never seen before. He gathers a diverse group of people, including Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron), Anne Wheeler (Zendaya) and Jenny Lind (Rebecca Ferguson), and also includes people in the show who were considered freaks, making stars of them. His show is so unique and extraordinary that he becomes known as the Greatest Showman on Earth.
