In the trailer for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, we see a woman talking to a deer about the reincarnation of her deceased daughter. We then see a series of billboards in her town, which we see is a way for her to vent her frustration with the police department’s inability to solve the murder. The billboards upset the police department and also put the woman at odds with other residents in her town, but she’s ready to do anything to solve her daughters murder, even if it means going to jail.
